When i open a new page or tab my pandora radio stops playing?

Anytime I have pandora radio playing it stops if I open a new tab or page. Any ideas on how to overcome this? Thanks
 
a simple way is to open pandora in a different internet browser such as firefox or safari and then open a new page with a different internet browser like internet explorer and do whatever you want to do...
 
Try opening the Pandora Radio Box in a completely different window.
