When intolerant religious conservatives rant about the rights of other women regarding pregnancy termination and use the inflammatory argument that abortion is the murder of babies - is it then perfectly justified to place the murder of depressed and bullied gay children and teens at their feet - the ones who commit suicide after being harassed or rejected?

Yes, if their parents were intolerant and rejected them(instead of supporting them) then they are greatly responsible for what happened to their child.

People don't need religion to see things from both angles, its easy to point fingers at those we suspect are pointing fingers but you don't have listen or follow, they are just guidelines for certain groups of people.

"Murder" in relation to unborn babies is just a 'term' used, it in itself holds no weight nor meaning, the only aspect of feeling is from the parent(s) involved in the termination.

People who murder adults for whatever reasons have a choice in what they do.

Belief only goes so far anyway, it is iinevitablydown to individual choice.

Religion is best used as a guideline then, take what makes life better for yourself and others and incorporate that into yourself, if you can, its easier said than done.

You need to substitute the word SCIENTIFIC for "inflammatory".

Your (and other advocates of baby murder) opinion that a baby growing inside its mother is not a baby is just that, AN OPINION.

Let me help you with a couple of definitions;

SUICIDE (Latin suicidium, from sui caedere, to kill oneself) is the intentional killing of oneself. CHOICE, the act of choosing or selecting, option: one of a NUMBER of things from which only one can be chosen.

The idea that "the likes of me" are responsible for someone else's CHOICE to end THEIR OWN life, is what is wrong with this society. No one is ever responsible for their own choices or actions (unless it is a heterosexual MAN), it s always someone else's fault, and to suggest any different is "blaming the victim".

I'm noting your use of the word "intolerant" in your rant-sorry, your poorly disguised as a question rant-and wondering how in the hell you could feel justly entitled to suggest a direct connection to a group of people that you've obviously abstracted and warped for the sake of your own agenda to a mythologized rash of suicides among gay teens and children. Beyond being a stupid, sh*tty, and unsubstantiated argument against-I'm guessing-pro-life advocates, conservatives, and the openly religiously devout, your rant amounts to emotional blackmail: a transparent and hollow attempt to press-gang those who disagree with you into silence or empty agreement by exploiting tragedy and appointing blame. And what's worse: this kind of crap routinely passes for critical debate instead of being recognized for rhetoric that's only meant to antagonize and divide.
