say that these Christians...? ... are not real christians when even Christ tells us not to judge others? Can we even tell ppl to look at christ and not christians becuz Christ told us to be a light to the world? If we are a light to the world, shouldn't ppl already be seeing christ in us without us having to tell them to look at christ instead of us?
@Carmen- lol, i was here first :)

Christian's grow and mature at different paces, It all depends on how much they get into God's word and stay there. Some move along very fast and seem to make changes over night while others move along at a snail's pace and still others seem to never quite get it, but still believe. Like you said "its not up to us to judge" and yes we should be looking at Christ and not each other. God works differently in everyone because we all have a different circumstance going on with in us. Just keep you light going because it is contagious.

"not real christians" is the no-true-scotsman fallacy.

According to this thinking, all christians are true christians to the point when their bad behavior has been exposed.

No. I assume they are typical christians if they aren't exactly acting "christlike".

"not real Xtians" is not only a "no true scotsman" fallacy, it's also used more by Xtians to disassociate themselve from people who might make them look bad

this is why it is so important for each soul to focus on their own spiritual journey
its a personal thing and always will be
it is NOT your responsibility to TELL the world to believe what YOU believe
especially when what you believe can be left up to so much interpretation

That would be the no true Scotsman logical fallacy. Just because someone is a d-bag hypocrite doesn't make them not a Christian. Being familiar with Christianity, I know it is impossible for someone to be a Christian and not also be a hypocrite. If they are a friendly hypocrite, I don't mind so much. If they're a d-bag, then that still doesn't violate the definition of Christianity.

yes people should see christ in you. but then you have the doubtful in the world. it is not a sin to see sin where it really exists. it is only sinfully if you see it where it does exists.
