Hi BlairLuvr,

Well, it really depends... A trusted reporter with a very high TR status can remove your content on his own. He does not need a second person to help him remove your content... These members who have a very high TR ( trusted Reporter) status worked ( and still working) hard to obtain this privilege by accurately and carefully reporting abuse.

Right now I can take down this question of yours without the help of a second person. And this is because ( as previously mentioned) I currently have a TR status.

So, when a member like me reports you, your content ( be it a question or an answer) will be deleted without a Staff consent. However, if you feel your content was incorrectly reported, you can always appeal the decision. But please know it is very hard to appeal successfully against a TR, because a TR is always careful in how he/she reports abuse. If they don't use care in how they report abuse, they will lose their TR status, and consequently get their account suspended.

Now, if your content got reported but didn't get deleted immediately, a real Staff member will take a look at your content to determine whether it was reported correctly. If your content is found in violation, the Staff will remove it and send you a violation notice.

So it really depends, BlairLuvr --- the Staff are not always aware of your content removal if your content is being reported by a TR, unless your content is being held for review.

EDIT: I just wanted to say a reported content is not always removed automatically. And the report system is not always automatic. If your trust score is low and a TR reports you, then your content may be deleted automatically. But if your trust score is high ( like mine), no one can remove your content but the Staff, even if a group of 100 people should attack you and report you maliciously.

In order to become a trusted member, you must satisfy these critera:

1. Do not post content to Yahoo! Answers in violation of the CG ( Community Guidelines) and/or TOS ( Terms of Service).

2. Appeal only if you know you have a case. Successful appeals increase your immunity from being reported incorrectly

3. Report abuse accurately. The more you report abuse accurately, the more trusted you become.

4. Advance to a higher level. The level your level is, the more trusted you become.

Do not believe? Go ahead and try.

All the best.

No one sees the question/answer if they are reported and deleted. If the person appeals the violation then a yahoo staff member reviews the question/answer to see if it is or is not a violation. If it is not the question/answer will be reinstated. If not you will get an email telling you that you did not win the appeal. Hope this helps!!!
