When will dvds be phased out, and what's next after blue ray?

I keep hearing people say that dvds will be around for a while, and alot of people say they will be out very soon, and alot of people say that blue ray is the last physical format for movies. What's going to happen?!@!@

IDK however, the only other option now is completely digital media. All streaming from some source I would gather.

i really don't think Blue ray will take over coz honestly there aren't really that big difference from DVD so people don't care getting a Blue Ray player, i would bet around 4D
