I usually fish off the pier on Sanibel Island but I won't probably be going there this time. I plan on going to Naples, Ft.Myers, Clearwater, Tampa, and just around that general area. I'm not a big fisher so just fishing of the pier provides plenty of excitement for me. I'm traveling there next week. What is in season right now and what kind of bait would be best? And finally, how much should I pay for a decent but cheap pole and fishing kit and how much is a license for more than one day for out-of-state visitors? Thanks.
