Where can I download a good program that will convert my Divx files into

files my DVD player will play? I have many gigs of video on my comupter I'd like to make into DVDs so I can get my computer memory back. Please dont' send me links to websites with viruses or worms... My computer will automatically detect them. Thanks!!

I was in the same situation as you. Low computer memory and a lot of movies. the search for the perfect, free, non virus, non shareware, illimited features in windows is just a huge waste of time.

my best suggestion is that you install ubuntu linux (no need to erase windows) and you will not believe how many good programs are (completely free) that will make professional DVD (even with the labels for the disc and box). If after installing ubuntu you have any questions come back here.

If you al trying to find a player that will play your movies rather than convert them to a usable format, try vlc media player from:
videolan. org/

If you would like to convert try divx convertor from divx. com/ it will also allow you to download a different divx player a web player for online streaming divx coded videos and more software. Another good site to search for a different answer would be download. cnet. com/ this iste has everything you will need for cheats for games to movie editing software (never failed me before!)
