where can i find the vin number on a suzuki dirt bike?

this guy wants to sell me a dirtbike for 200 bucks he claims hes moving but he has no manual or paperwork and i can get a bill of sale but i need to know where to find the vin becuase i trust no one and this is for a kid so im not gonna do that its an 89-96 i belive rm 2 stroke suzuki 125cc placemt if anyone can relate to this is would be appreciated so i can get my boy a decent bike ...
