Where can I get a really fast and reliable internet connection in Paris?

I have to register for my courses online while I'm in Paris, and I need to do it quickly because the courses fill up extremely fast. The wireless in my house is not very reliable. Have you found any really good places to get online?

There's a good internet center a couple of blocks west of the Pantheon on the rue souflot on the south side of the street and another near the Centre Pompidou on the south side of the square. I've used both fairly recently.
