vacation but Roger does? The premise would be that the Smith family wants to go on vacation since it has been a long time and they can play up the fact how each individual is busy with their own things and not getting a chance to relax.
However, the problem is that they do not have enough money to go on vacation and this puts them in a disheartened mood since they had their hopes up.
But Roger manages to weasel his way into going on a five star vacation without telling any of the family and they actually catch him red handed.
Understandably they are all upset but Roger justifies it by saying how he has been soooo busy and burnt out and he really needed the vacation badly and that is why he took his measures into his own hand.
This upsets the whole family even more since as we know Roger doesnt do anything and then they storm off and leave him to his trip. Of course Roger doesnt care since he is all about himself, but then there is danger in the area he is vacationing and the Smith's must decide if they want to save him or not.
The episode could be called like 'Smith Family Vacation' or something and I like the premise of it. Obviously there are some holes but the writers can do their magic and really come up with a hilarious episode from this. The key is having Roger as the focal point and the rest will work itself out.
So, what do you guys think about this episode? Any improvements or is it good the way it is. Like I said, I really think it would be good!
Also, does anyone know if it is possible to send this idea to the show or just emailing fox or something? I really want to try and get it out there but I am not sure if American Dad has a fan submission thing like this set up...I hope there is some way to do it.
