She fumbled through her pockets fishing out only ashes of what seemed to be tissues. She looked miserably at the breaking tissues and swallowed back self-pity disconcertingly. 'Well miss? That would be dollars', the impatient shop assisstant snapped.

Perspiration formed all over Mary's forehead in beads of sweat she hesitantly pulled back her hair and fumbled through her pockets again only to be disappointed with the result, this time pulling out fabrics of the inside of her pocket.
 
If I were to make a plot using this, I think it could be a poor girl's journey to pursue her dreams or it could be a rich girl who ran away from home, experiencing a life without her parent's money.
