Where is a good place to go for faq or to ask questions on Judaism without...

...offending someone and having? people say I am heretical.

Examples of questions I have.

In reading the tanakh (old testament), I wonder how Yahweh would allow and not punish men abusing women, how he could supposedly call for the annihilation of a certain race including their livestock and babies (the Amelekites).

Why do Jews have a habit of calling the creator G-d over Yahweh? I, myself prefer calling him Yahweh because I feel everyone has a specific name or designation and God, well god is just a title like father, teacher, president, etc. I think it belittles him and distances our relationship with him.

How do you deal with offensive dress if you truly consider it offensive and disrespectful? If you think you should avoid it, how do you do this if people with offending dress live in your neighborhood?

I do realize I don't know everything. Either there was a reason for everything and every one needing to be destroyed or Yahweh didn't really command such a thing.

I prefer calling the creator Yahweh over God.

I have been given some websites recently. I have visited a few and looked it over. I have only more questions now. LOL Ahhh,, I think I'll go read the book I have. :P

Thanks for reading my wall of text. Yahweh will provide with the answers in time if I persevere and patient, not a trait I am good at. :P
Rousseau, thank you. I feel like I would be wasting his time. I'm not Jewish. I do love to read though. I would be happy to find appropriate dress and sit in the back of the room and pray before I go in, for the proper attitude. As much as I disagree with a bit of the teaching, I have found that, amongst established religions in the area, with actual places of worship, this religion does come closest to my own beliefs, by far and I do want to worship the creator with others.

I just keep getting this feeling that I would be intruding. :P Tell me if I'm wrong. Thanks.

There is no reason to offend anyone. Everyone is different and will not agree on every subject. I do have a lot of links and books I have read on Judaism and Jewish culture I can share with you if you're interested.

G-D has many names, young talmudic scholar. Remember the times in which the tanakh was written. By Man for Yahweh. Those were the times of barbarians. There is a reason and a season for everything under the sun. Our faith, traditions and beliefs are what sees us through the trials and tribulations we face as a people today.
Consult your local Rabbi...I find it easier to grasp concepts when talking to an actual person than fumbling around with dry old books. L'Chaim.

Or you could watch Fiddler On The Roof.

Yo man, seek God however you imagine Him to exist and quit getting all bogged down in how others use religion to either explain or exploit.
