Homosexuality isn't rampant here but our high school campus (6,000 Students) has a gay/straight alliance. The younger generation seems more accepting than the older generation but it isn't as OUT here as in some of the bigger cities. The parents of gay and lesbian teens are having a hard time here because there are not many places for us to go for support and to help us understand. We have to drive for 30 minutes to get to a PFLAG meeting.
