Alrighty, I've got some input here.
Staffers: Are you trying to control us because of some power trip that secretly makes you feel high and mighty for being in a position of power on a website? Or is it because you're honestly trying to ensure that we students have fun finding the secrets? If it's the former, then you need to get your head checked -- none of this is actually real and your rank means nothing. However, if it's the latter, you've got to understand that different people perceive "fun" in different ways. Yes, the site secrets ARE fun to find. (Don't worry, Roxie, they are entertaining and we all enjoy them.) However, there are some legitimate reasons for people to cheat.
* The most obvious reason is, some people just can't figure them out, no matter how hard they try. They sit and stare at their monitors for hours and just can't do it. The curiosity eats away at them until they just burst with "I MUST know this!" and look for help. Getting help should not be against the rules. Because, if no one is allowed to help them, they'll never know. What's the fun in that?
* Others simply don't have the time to pour over their computers until their brains melt. Some have other affairs to tend to -- work, school, socializing...things that wouldn't leave them much time for riddles. But, they try in what little time they have and if they can't get one/some, then as I said previously, the curiosity of what they can't find gets them to look for help. Again, if no one will help them, they'll never know. Again, no fun.
* And then there's the people like me. Heh heh. People like me are well aware of the rules. We know what we're allowed to do, but we know even better what's restricted from us. We also know the consequences of our actions. Normally, that would probably deter people from breaking the rules. But, for others, it motivates them. I know you've heard the term "forbidden fruit". That's exactly what we seek. Personally, I find all of this thrilling, having to find secret places outside MNI to hold secret discussions with a secret identity, knowing that one wrong move could ruin everything. And believe it or not, I don't mind the fact that all you staffers are breathing down our necks...because it only makes it that much more dangerously exciting. So, keep trying! It's a game, staffers, it's a game! A giant game of hide and seek and you're the seekers. How many times have you read any of the Harry Potter books and read about Harry sneaking around the castle, trying as hard as he could to be completely silent so as not to attract the attention of the staff? And how many times have you wished you were breaking the Hogwarts rules right there beside him? This is our chance for us innocents troublemakers...such as the Slytherins, heh...to have our own personal brand of fun.
So, you see, Roxie? We're not out to ruin what's been created, we're just having our fun. And if our happiness is all you're concerned about, then you need not worry about anything at all. Those who find it fun to figure everything out themselves will do just that. There are many MNIers who don't cheat, so don't worry -- all that hard work at coding the secrets isn't in vain. There are many who are using them traditionally, the way they were meant. The rest of us, at least the people like me, we like to take risks, because it's invigorating. We're simply upping the stakes, because we like a little danger with our fun.

And also, for all you sneaky MNIers out there...
