Where should I meet this boy for the first time?

I met this kid on facebook. He goes to a school about 30 minutes away. We've been talking for a week and we wanna meet in person! But neither of us can decide where. We don't want to go out to eat or anything like a date...we just want to meet as friends first! We're 17 and live in Tennessee if that helps anything? Anymore questions about it ask. :) But any ideas?

meet in public, not in private. could have someone waiting at his place and knock you unconscious and you wake up in a wheat field the next day half naked. meet at the mall. never know what he could do to you in private, facebook friend or not.
