FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NOT PARTICIPATED YET!
Here are the rules: You can include your own country (if you want to). You can also briefly explain WHY you chose this country (if you want to). A list of top 5 countries which YOU personally admire and/or love:
My list:
1. USA (no explanation needed; great in almost all respects; I do not like some of the US foreign policies, but that is just a small matter)
2. Japan (I am fascinated with Japanese culture; also, the only country, I think, that comes close to the USA--and sometimes even beats the USA--in terms of technology and economy; also love Japanese food)
3. UK (love its culture, its people, its entertainment industry: the country that brought us the Beatles, Agatha Christie, and Harry Potter
)
4. Germany (great, stable European country; very similiar to the USA, I think, in many respects)
5. Brazil (the only NON first-world country on my list; I simply love the people; Brazilians are amongst the most friendly, cheerful, and happy people in the world, not to mention some of the most beautiful; anyone who has been to Rio or Sao Paulo knows, Brazilians rock! Also, Brazil is becoming a force to be reckoned with.)
Honorable Mentions:
6: Italy
7: France
8: Russia
9: Australia
10: Canada
So which countries are on YOUR list and why? ;D
