Which bluetooth headset works best for ventrilo?

I play world of warcraft, and I use vent to talk to my friends. Recently I decided that I would like to have a wireless headset to play with, however those cost at least over $100. I already had a bluetooth headset, so I went out and purchased a bluetooth adapter for my computer. I was able to set everything up and configure vent to use the bluetooth. However when I tested it, my friend said I sounded really squeaky,and there was a lot of static in the background. I have a Motorola h350 bluetooth. It is about 5 years old, but barely used. So I am wondering if all bluetooths sound this way on vent, or if I need to get a new one, and if so what is the optimum model to get?
