I miss my AppleMac where I could burn a DVD with the software Toast in under 20 minutes. Now I am on PC, burning DVD's is so slow, finding a cure for cancer might be quicker. A 120 minute DVD takes more than 120 minutes to convert and burn in all of the commercial and shareware DVD burning software I have come across and used.
I also not they are all CPU hogs... dragging 85% plus from my 2.8ghz CPU, meaning I really can't run any other applications at the same time.
What is a fast DVD burning software to use on PC.?
I am becoming more and more convinced to go back to Apple Mac. No viruses ever, no "not responding". no restrt s required. And only 20 minutes to burn a DVD.
Think I will go into the shed and pull out and old 120mhz Mac which can still burn a DVD by far faster than a you beaut high speed PC. Even a 120 Mhz can burn a DVD in under 30 minutes. This is deja vu... the old beta video was by far superior to VHS but just not as popular. Apple Mac kraps all over PC, but only hold a 10% market share. Go figure... A far superior computer out marketed by the inferior.

On a side note, without any extra software or preliminary applications,... Macs can make a backup copy of a DVD in under 20 minutes. Meanwhile for PC... Rip DVD (1 hour), convert and burn (another 1 or 2 hours or greater). Anti-copy software on PC says can not do,... but on Mac, like Nike.. just do it. and in under 20 minutes.
