They're not for regular use, just for trailering. if you like some with the velcro, does the velcro go in front or in back? it's been a really long time since i've dealt with bell boots, and i've never used velcro ones. Another thing, what size do you think i should get? i have a 15.3hh thoroughbred gelding. http://www.flickr.com/photos/21655830@N02/4569292554/ would a medium work?

thank you!
i think a lot of people put bell boots on wrong LOL. i thought the velcro went in front, but i see a lot of people putting it in back.
bahahaha, i'm sure my gelding would really appreciate that ice lavendar ;)

I just bought Pro Choice bell boots a couple weeks ago. They seem great so far. I'm only using them for when I practice gaming/barrel racing or when I compete. I did a competition yesterday and the boots worked out great. They didn't turn at all. And the velcro goes in front.
Peanut is about 15-15.1. and has small feet (size 0 shoe). The medium ones fits him fine. They are adjustable to a degree, and on Peanut they are as tight as they go.

If you don't get those ones, and you decide to get another kind with velcro, make sure they have a no-turn design. Because if they end up turning, and the velcro ends up in the back, and then your horse steps on it, and he could manage to get them off. So if you go for a cheaper kind that doesn't have a no-turn knob or some kind of no-turn design, get the slip on kind without velcro.
