Okay I asked a question yesterday and I thank everyone for their response.
I went out to the store today and found a few that I liked. Can you please tell me if these are good?
My T.V is in a family room with enough room for 7 speakers and a subwoofer.

Or should I just get a receiver and separate speakers?

If so can you please recommend some speakers from either that website or this one

My budget is up to $1200

Onkyo are are very good system. The only Home Theater that Home Theater Magazine recommends is the Onkyo HT-S944, it is a 7.1 receiver and a set of speakers which is price below your budget. Demo the system at your local Fry's Electronic. The HT-S5400 is also a good system. Hope this will help you out.

Honestly You should always buy a seperate receiver and speakers. No manufacture excels at every device or speaker. But If you were going to buy a receiver with speakers The onyko you listed is good but if you want to get a system like that move up to the 6300. It has more wattage. http://www.amazon.com/Onkyo-HT-S6300-7-1-Channel-Theater-Receiver/dp/B003IT49LG
If you go seperates for receivers look at Marantz, Onkyo, Denon, Pioneer, and Yamaha. For speakers systems look at Klipsch, Energy, Polk audio. Ideally you should buy individual speakers and not a speaker system since not all speaker makers make the best of every type of speaker. For Subs Here is a list of the top subs http://home-subwoofers-review.toptenreviews.com/
