Which ps2 racing game fits this description?

My friend had a racing game, we used to play it together, he's in a foreign country now, so i can't ask him myself, maybe you can help me. The game started with a dune buggy in the middle of the night in the desert, that was the first race, and i remember that the last vehicle you could unlock was a tank, it also had an SUV and a quad bike as vehicles, different roads and races for each vehicle, i have searched for the name of this game for quite a while now, didn't find it, looked for it in the racing games category for off road in Wikipedia, which included games from the 1990's til now, and nothing showed, if you have played a game like this, and you have a name, maybe you could help, if you could, i would be most greatly appreciated.
