...oppsite? so im getting split system air cond installed, please see this picture

we will be using a small fan to stir up the cool air near kitchen area, but just not sure if it's better on top of lounge or the TV pls give me some ideas

The installation of the air conditioner should not be on the South or West side of your house.
The unit will be running, and running baking in the sun, and it won't feel like the place will get cool enough, so you should choose a east or north side of the house to install. This might help you decide where the inside of the house the AC face should be.
My AC is on the north side of my house--out of direct sun light.
