which topic is more controversial and interesting?

i have to do a research paper for english and these are the ones i'm interested in, im just not sure which one to do.

1.) insanity defense: should people be able to use insanity as a defense after committing crimes?
2.)sex education: should schools educate students about abstinence or sexual protection?
3.) stem-cell research: should embryos be killed for medical purposes?
4.)censorship: should people be give to use hate speech?

Insanity defense. It is the number one defense used here in Texas. It is totally over-used as a defense plea, but juries seem to fall for it hook line and sinker! The case of Dena Schlosser who cut off her 10-month-old baby's arms and let her bleed to death and Andrea Yates who drowned her 5 children in a bath tub of water. Those two cases are burned into my memory to this day because they were so gruesome and pointless. Both women were found not guilty by reason of insanity. I think it would make a great paper. Good luck to you in whatever subject you decide on.

Stem-cell research is probably the most controversial because the con side of the argument is based in religion.

Although I agree with religious conservatives who want to challenge the youth to delay sexual activity for a while, I totally disagree with their message that a condom is a provision for sin. I send my Christian friends to the website below which debunks the whole thing against premarital sex in the Bible. That way they have no excuse not to support comprehensive sex education.
