Your time line is wrong. Saul of Tarsus began to persecute the early Christians after the Holy Spirit came on Pentecost, and many began to convert. This was after Christ had already risen from the dead

he was there when stephen was stoned to death and probably heard the words he spoke and watched him as he saw jesus seated<<sorry ,,(standing ) at the right hand of the father the 12 were scattered all over the known world except a few in jerusalem .. it wasn't that long after christs death at all ...15~20 years max

Edit: I've read the bible, and it validates my answer. No, that isn't polite. If I assume that you never read the menu at a restaurant, then say that you'll never get anything from the salad bar. It's no different.

Jesus preached.
Died for our sins
Shed His Blood
Rose again
Ascended up into Heaven a few days afterwards.

Some time down the road a dude named Saul shows up. Starts killing and persecuting Christians. Saul didnt because Paul until after his conversion.

In other words, Saul wasnt going around killing Christians while Jesus was on Earth.

Who told you that Paul was killing Christians during Jesus's time? My ministers certainly never told me that lie. Others, yes, but not that one.

And, no, you are not "polite" to tell people they will go to hell because they answered your question without (you assume) reading the bible.

Kid, Paul lived LONG after Jeez was supposed to have lived.

Paul was not killing Christians during Jesus' ministry. I imagine he was still a very young man, like 15-18. Get your dates straight.
