I am a male in early twenties and I am White.
With this question, I am white and I love R&B/Hip Hop type music.
My favorite artist is Mario. As in Mario Barrett and not Mario the gaming character. I love all of Mario's songs. My favorites of Mario are "Kryptonite", "Main Attraction", "Let Me Love You", and "Harder to Breathe."
However, my Ipod is filled with Musiq Soulchild, Usher, Ne-Yo, J Holiday, Omarion, and Marques Houston. I play Usher's "Trading Places" repeatedly and Ne-Yo's "She Got Her Own."
My question is:
Do you think it is weird that a young white male listens to this type of music that is generally associated to be listened by people of the African American race and possibly younger White females?
