Who can I complain to about Advantage Cable's/Time Warner's bad business practices?

In the last four years that I have had service with Time Warner, I have only been late on my bill twice. Both times, starting the day I am late (Way before the service is disconnected), Advantage cable starts calling me 4 and 5 times a day asking me if I can pay my bill yet.

And even though my service is still on, and I tell them that I don't get paid until Friday and I can pay it then they still call me multiple times a day. I have requested them to stop and they said they will not stop until I pay my bill.

I simply lack the understanding of this. If I have been a continuous customer for 4 years, I am hardly ever late and I am telling you I will pay the bill in a few days...what is the point of continuing to harass me?

There is no other cable service in my area, and my apartment won't let us have dish network, so I can't switch providers. How do I get this to stop?
