Who is a better actor Denzel Washington or Tom Cruise?

I know a lot of people don't like Tom Cruise but I think he is really really good if he gets the right role.

But Denzel is of course good to I thought this was an interesting comparison.
 
Denzel Washington. I enjoyed Tom Cruise earlier movies but now, i mostly bored with this movies. Over all I prefer Denzel Washington movies over Tom Cruise.
 
Can I say, neither! Rainman is a great movie but because of Dustin Hoffman, not Tom Cruise. When I watched War of the Worlds, I tried to focus on Dakota Fanning. I liked Jerry McGuire but just cause of the little boy, not Tom Cruise. I like a lot of his movies but not him.
 
Denzel Washington is better, he's very good and makes every role very believable.

Cruise is good for "some" roles but in other roles he looks like he's over-acting, or just "not the right guy for the job."

Take for example "Vanilla Sky" (bad remake of the excellent Spaniard movie "Abre los Ojos" / "Open Your Eyes" staring Eduardo Noriega). Watch the original vs the re-make and decide which actor did better in the leading role: Eduardo Noriega or Tom Cruise

He Was AMAZING in "Malcolm X",What an Amazing Acting,Tom Cruise is Really Annoying and Self-Centered,i don't like him at all

Training Day,The Bone Collector and The Book of Eli,Very Good Movies

Although "Magnolia" and "Vanilla Sky"."Jerry McGuire" are also Great Movies,But I don't Like Tom Cruise
