According to bible prophecy ,the Great harlot will be destroyed and will not be seen anymore. Who is this country mentioned as the new Babylon of the modern times?
Babylon the Great is a global empire, she is religious, and she is Satan’s counterfeit system that he uses in fighting against the seed of God’s woman. (Revelation 12:17) Babylon the Great is the entire world empire of false religion. She includes all religions that preserve the religious teachings and practices of ancient Babylon and that manifest her spirit.
Babylon the Great is the religious part of Satan’s organization. (Compare John 8:43-47.) Her most prominent segment today is apostate Christendom, which emerged as a powerful, lawless organization in the fourth century after Christ, with creeds and formalisms derived, not from the Bible, but largely from Babylonish religion.—2*Thessalonians 2:3-12.
Once we realize this, we must now recognize the true religion. Jesus said that you will recognize his followers by their love. (John 13:34, 35) When Jesus met a woman in Samaria who had been deceived by false religion, he said to her: “You worship what you do not know .*.*. The true worshipers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for, indeed, the Father is looking for suchlike ones to worship him.” (John 4:22,*23) Clearly, true worship can be found.
Jesus said: “I do nothing of my own initiative; but just as the Father taught me I speak these things.” So Jesus knew that the religion he taught was the only true one. (John 8:28) Therefore, he said: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) Since true worshippers are united in one approach to the Father, they must be united in one true religion.
Worldwide, there are over 7.5 million Jehovah's Witnesses who learn, teach, and witness about God's kingdom. (John 17:3; Deuteronomy 6:1, 6; Matthew 24:14) They all do their best to follow Jesus steps closely. (1 Peter 2:21) As the apostles did, we go house to house to "make disciples of people of all the nations...teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU." (Acts 5:42; Matthew 28:19, 20) We want to help people get out of Babylon the Great so that they are not sharing with her in her sins, or receiving part of her plagues. (Revelation 18:4)

Did the prophet know such places would exist? It's conceivable he may have heard of India, China and even Britain where the tin came from, but how does this prophecy affect China?
How is it that China and India existed and were civilised before, during and after the days of this prophet but his prophecy had nothing to say of them? Why would that be if he was divinely inspired? Why is his prophecy so obscure? Why is it barely intelligible, if intelligible at all? Why do you imagine it is relevant at all?
