Edwards had a stylist on call, hair cut cost 1,250 that included air fare , and 2 days out of salon. Later the fee was 300-500 plus airfare, and hotel. Just before trial, he was seen at supper cuts, and paid 12.50
The President, in his first year was out 26 days, but obviously, the President flies in AirForce one with security, of course it costs more.( First year for Reagan-42days. G.W.-77days) But comparing haircuts to Presidential travel, in the scheme of it Edwards spent more.

On his last vacation at $7,000,000 each way, Obama spent $28,000,000 just on his own, he also spent about $14,000,000 on his wife and kids. So I would say it is pretty close, the difference being Obama is spending your money and John Edwards isn't.
