Why am I getting a blank white screen on my Sony Ericsson F305?

Hi there;
I got my Sony Ericsson F305 for Christmas last year and it was working fine until last night/this morning when it started giving me this irritating blank, white screen.
I'm not sure if people have had similar problems with their phones but any advice on why this is happening or how to fix it would be fantastic.
