Currently I am having a very hard time making it through the day with out sleeping. I can sleep 7-8 hours a night and still be beyond sleepy after 2-3 hours of activity. I have a 22 month old daughter and need to figure out what is wrong because I don't have the energy to just go run and play throughout the day. Please any help would be great, the last doctor I went to said all my hormone levels where good my thyroid was good and had no answers. Please any help would be great I just wanna be able to stay awake... sometimes I can't even drive because I am so tired I just fall asleep.

you most likely don't make it into a deep sleep at all throughout the night.
there are 4 levels of sleep and your body does not fully recover unless it enters into the later part of three and into 4.
this can be caused by many things but most commonly its from being partially woken throughout the night or from excessive dreaming or nightmares.
if you normally fall asleep listening to music or with a TV on you should try turning them off (or at least set a timer). the fluctuation in volume can partially wake you and make you pull out of the later stages of sleep without actually waking.
also if you have a lot of dreams or nightmares (which happen in levels 1 and 2 of sleep) it can prevent you from reaching the later stages at all.
if you don't listen to anything or turning it off doesn't work you can try taking an OTC sleep medication for a few nights but if that doesn't work you can go to a hospital clinic and ask for a sleep study. they will monitor your brain's activity throughout the night and this can usually help them figure things out.

before the world is how we know it today , it was cave man time and here during the winter because animals hibernated it was hard to hunt down food , some mankind went into a hibernation state , to reserve energy we slept a lot more during the winter times then
today some people genes that have been passed down through the ages and want to sleep through the day and all through the night , because we have school and work we think we are tired because of mundane days but really we are all carrying this gene and want to sleep (hibernate)we dont realise it because we are not taught this
so dont worry in the summer you will be sleeping on some beach with the sun shinning down on you getting a good tan
wont be;long either

I am only 14, but here is something I learned. Make sure you drink something before you sleep. And also, when you wake up. Do what my mom does, have some coffee. I don't really know what you should do. But sometimes I am like that. I get up at 6:20 am everyday and sometimes can barely make it thru 1st period at school. I would try some coffee, water about 30 minutes before bed. And make sure you eat enough during the day.
