Why are all of you complaining?! (about the Miley Cyrus pic)?

I don't see what the big deal is.

Obviously nobody would care about this if she wasn't so popular and a big role-model to younger kids. Pretend she's not so poular and a big role-model to younger kids, would you care as much? You probably wouldn't. It's art, and that's all it was intended to be. It shows off her natural beauty...and maybe that would be appropriate if her fans were a little older, but we can't assume she's going to turn out like Britanny Spears and all over those other "teen stars gone bad." It's not even a "topless" pic like everyone says it is; you'd see more if she was on the beach in a bikini. So I guess that means if all of you parents take your kids to the beach that's considered "bad parenting".

The point is, it's not a dirty pic, it may be slightly suggestive, but if you parents want to practice good parenting, then stop complaining about other people's personal lives and teach your kids a thing or two and talk to them about the issue instead of fussing about how "bad" it is.

People make mistakes. That's what makes you human. I'm sure many of you have done bad things, and your kids will do the same, it's inevitable.
*******STAR IF YOU AGREE*******

I don't agree at all . This is the problem with kids today . They see it on TV and such then look at the parents telling them not to and say why not Miley Cyrus can your just old fashioned

I haven't been complaining about the pic, but I saw your question and read through it. I don't think that it's art to take suggestive pictures of 15 year olds under any circumstances. It's creepy. I don't think it means that the child's a bad person- but I really question the judgment of her parents. I oppose our culture's trend of sexualizing little girls.

I agree that people can use this issue to talk to their children about their values. I don't think I'd use the word "bad" when doing it. I would surely discuss with them whether there is a positive point to taking pics like that.

But even if she wasn't famous...someone her age shouldn't be acting that way..I have a 15 year old friend who has over 100 pics of her self all of them are clean and kidie....even though am 20 I would never pose like that. She is suppose to be a Disney girl...disney girls are not suppose to act that way and even if she wasn't...thats pretty tacky of them.

But so far all of Disneys top stars have went down the drain.
It could be she is too famous at such a young age.
