why are all the music video,s i download in ares in ASF or FLAC media player

in e/x won,t play them , xvid or? I,m working in windows ex, i normally download from ares and burn with nero burning rom
most music video,s are starting to be in codec ASF or FLAC rather than xvid or avi format, XVID or AVI play fine in WMP IN WIN X/P , BUT I CAN DOWNLOAD THEM IN ASF FINE BUT I CAN,T OLAY THEM OR BURN THEM WITH NERO

Try converting the files into avi format. If you need one there are free converters such as Any Video Converter or Format Factory.
