...like it wasn't over 10 trillion dollars when Obama got into office?

I here so many people saying how they have to explain to their children that Obama is ruining their future, like somehow there was a small, manageable federal debt, and now with Obama's spend-o-rama they are hopeless. Turns out $10,000,000,000,000 is a big debt.
"Yes, however the problem comes with the rate at which they are spending money.

Since the inauguration, Obama has spent $1.26 trillion dollars in two months. There was $747 billion for the stimulus, $410 bill for the budget and $65 for the mortgage industry.

Comparing that to Bush, Obama has spent almost 30% of what Bush spent in his entire eight years in 2% of the time. Problem? I think so."

Because the republicans have become concervative again since they no longer control where the money goes.

Obama had to roll over trillions of G Dub's debt. You repukkkes conveniently forget about that.

Funny how Republicans conveniently overlook the fact that Reagan, Bush 41, and Bush 43 are responsible for about 85% of that $10 trillion dollars.

It would take all 8 years of Obama running a $1 trillion dollar/yr deficit to catch up.

Not that I agree with all this spending by Obama or the last 3 Republicans, but only ignorant people are blind to the obvious.
