200 years ago? Plus we have a black president now, I think it's time to get over it. Seriously, it's getting really old.

Simply because in every day life many whites (especially in the oil patch where I work) still have the attitude:

Black is beautiful
Tan is grand
But white is the color
Of the big boss man!

Talking about slavery is one thing I agree with you on.

But generally speaking, of course there is still racism in the world. Sometimes it's subtle, other times it's outright in-your-face.

Sometimes I do feel they are paranoid and assume a lot of things that aren't going their way is BECAUSE of racism. But other times, it's justified.

I just think they need a better racism radar sometimes.

BECAUSE they don't know of anything else they can use that is more up to date. YES, it is annoying beyond belief. At the same time they are doing this, they get angry because we still don't have a great deal of respect for them......gee, now that's real hard to figure out... Come on people, catch up with what's real NOW or shut the heck up.
 
Agreed, black epople love to pull out the race card for every damn thing. They blame all their misfortunes on whites.

You don't hear Jews going around ranting about Hitler and the Holocaust and expecting benefits without working.
 
Yes it would be great if the rest of the world who are racist everyday, got over it, it's just skin colour at the end of the day.
 
Funny how some of you yanks think racism towards black people is simply slavery.

Firstly your insitution of slavery ended 145 years ago and your racial segregation (legal racism) ended 45 years ago.

I don't whine about racism towards me (which I hardly feel where I am) or my race I only whine about racists in general (of any race) and theists (God believers) because those two types of peoples thoughts annoy me but mostly theist mentality it all lacks any evidence.

One thing that they fail to tell you is that allot of races where sold into slavery, Chinese, Irish, Jews are among the list and many many more
 
My ancestors weren't even slaves I'm East African my family didn't come to America until the 70s, nice try though.
 
REALLY?????? I didn't know all black people were complaining about it. If you weren't a racist yourself yourself wouldn't care. BTW the president is bi racial.
