it's not the making of money that is an issue. it's who should be allowed to make this money. capitalism is not for the working classes, it's for capitalists. labor is expected to "know their place".
Public sector unions are in an illegal money laundering scheme. Members pay dues. Union bosses dole out some of the dues money to Democrat politicians. Democrat politicians vote for sweetheart deals for public sector unions.
In the private sector, union workers can demand anything they want. But they have to be careful that they don't put the employer out of business.
Youre the typical liberal - Cant tell the difference between my efforts to further my capital gain compared to public unions who use my capital gain to further their efforts.
Tell me genius - Why should my Wisconsin tax dollars go towards the public pensions of school teachers when my wife and I have no children in their classrooms?
Well bigmouth?
Edit: No because my loss of tax dollars is not their capital gain, nor does my capital gain represent their loss. Now that youve been given the courtesy of an answer, whats the answer to my question - Why should my Wisconsin tax dollars go towards the public pensions of school teachers when my wife and I have no children in their classrooms? Any answer at all?

Public employee unions are unlike private sector unions. In the private sector some of the interests of employees and employers aren't aligned. Employers want to keep costs low; but employees want to maximize their pay and benefits, thus raising costs to employers. In order to strengthen their hand, employees unite to collectively bargain over wages and benefits.
Now consider the case of public sector unions. Public sector employees want to maximize their wages and benefits, too. But unlike their private sector counterparts, they have a very big role to play in choosing the employers on the other side of the negotiating table. They do this by taking funds earned through collective bargaining and sending them right back to the people they bargain with in the form of political contributions.
If that sounds like a rigged system; well, that's because it is. THERE'S NOTHING CAPITALISTIC ABOUT IT!!!!!!!
Jay - Every taxpayer, regardless of what they believe, is forced by law to pay the government workers' salaries. The government workers are then forced to contribute to the Democrat party through their union contributions. THERE IS NO CHOICE - I AM FORCED TO FUND THE DEMOCRAT PARTY. Very different for you - if you don't want to fund the Republicans, look up their donor list of PRIVATE contributors and put them on your DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE COMPANIES LIST. What is it with you people and your inability to understand the power of government?
Businesses use their political contributions (almost equally given to democrats and Republicans) to buy political influence which enables them to build new factories or retail stores, risk new ventures, invest in new methods of production and new technologies. The end result of their activity is the creation of jobs -- jobs for non-union workers, jobs for union workers.
Government unions use their political contributions (over 95% goes to democrats) for one purpose only: to get as much taxpayer money as they can for themselves. They create nothing. They don’t build factories or retail stores. They don’t take risks in new business ventures. They don’t invest in new technologies. The only jobs they create result from forcing employers to accommodate rules which require more workers to do a job one worker could do.
Correction:
Government unions do create something: a small class of workers who extort ever more money from us in order to pay themselves greater pay and benefits than we receive; a class of workers who, when we say “Enough!”, close governments and schools, riot and make threats against our elected officials – all intended to thwart the will of the people, as expressed in Constitutional elections.
Or, more accurately, unions create…greedy workers. Some might call them socialists.
Everyone wants to make as much money as possible, but normal folk use their skills and their powers on negotiation. They do not sit back and rely on others to make their lives for them. just sayin
