in galations in paul himself or any man or even an angel from heaven preach another gospel let him be acursed..the mormons teach another gospel..the bareans were admired because they searched the scripture to see if these things were so..Mormons should do the same..they feel attacked but who are he ones who came out and declared all christian faith are apostate and they alone have the real revelation of God..the shortest book in the world would be archeology and the book of mormon. yet despite no evidence to verify any of their teachings they feel persecuted when you take them to the bible and demonstrate that they are contradicting clear biblical teaching. look at the sermons of peter in act steven, read pauls epistles..this is the message they took to unbelievers...this is not the message that comes to my door ...
Each religious cult makes up one or more myths and stories to differentiate themselves from the other cults. Joseph Smith knew that as did Ron Hubbard, Benny Hinn, David Koresh, Mohamed and goodness knows how many popes.
They believe they are here in training to become gods. They think that if they reach godhood through their earthly work that they will one day be god of their very own planet. It is not commonly talked about with the rest of us..as they think it would give them a bad image..(hmmm...I wonder why?)
Some will tell you that they church USED to believe that, but that they no longer do...same as polygamy...guess they just like to mix things up a little....
