Why are some of my blocks the wrong scale when I insert them in AutoCAD 2008?

I have an extensive library of blocks that I created. When I insert them on some drawings several of them will come into the drawing about 50x the size of what the true scale of the object should be. What setting do I need to change to make sure all of my blocks are inserted at a 1:1 scale?

Note: the drawing style is architectural and both the block and the drawing are set to unitless.
This happens only on certain drawings and not with every block.
