Some people take a vow of poverty for religious purposes. Others are just lazy n'er-do-wells. Still others prefer to live simply. Who are we to judge?

Because some people feel that they have emptiness in themselves that they feel will only be filled by doing something worthy of credit to themselves. Others do it out of pure good will. Everyone needs something to complete themselves...

Because not all poor people choose that route. My family is bordering on poor. No one has any right to say my parents do not work hard. We needed government help at once point. Do you think that, just because we are poor, we do not deserve help?

I do not like you.

Who are you, indeed? Who are you to tell us to stop trying to help?
Some people run into hard luck and need help.

YOU sound like a "n'er do well" in some ways.

YOU 'give it a rest," give it up, and allow others to be kind, even though you are not.

OK, I'll restrict my obsession to helping those who want help, OK? Does that do it for you?

if you really want to help the poor solve the reason why they are poor, instead of just putting up charity foundations.

Solve all the political strife in Africa and their backward economy first, then we can donate to their rebuilding.

I believe when most people "help the poor" they are aiming it towards those who are truly in need and are wanting help.

Who's judging?

Yeah I'm trying to help those Christians understand that there isn't a god, but I won't give up!!!

There are also people who went broke due to medical reasons, identity theft, etc. who really DO need help or they will starve.
