...Saturday? I made a mistake when I said the "5th" commandment, I meant the 4th commandment
I'm very confused right about now. I've done some biblical research and found that in the Ten Commandments, God tells us to remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. He states that the SEVENTH DAY is His day of rest. I've asked a Baptist preacher and he said that that law was "just for the ancient Jews." I don't believe him because in the book of Genesis, God created the Earth and everything in it and rested on the seventh day and made it holy. THIS LAW WAS MADE BEFORE JEWS EVER EXISTED! On top of that, Jesus was Jewish and lived in Jerusalem where He kept the Sabbath. The Sabbath is being kept in both the New and Old Testament. I've also noticed that the Catholic Church admits to changing the Seventh Day Sabbath to Sunday (The day of the Sun God). NO ONE ON EARTH HAS THE POWER AND AUTHORITY TO CHANGED GOD'S LAW and the protestants besides the SDA is saying that the 5th Commandment doesn't count. In that case why follow any of them? Why do you all give the SDA church bad comments when they are following God's Law the right way? Everything they do is justified by the Bible and I find no faults in them. I think I just might become a Seventh Day Adventist myself! Please tell me why the SDA church is wrong and the Baptist, Catholic, Methodist etc are correct because I'm VERY confused.
