Why are there so many atheists in Religion and Spirituality?

Lets say the christians are here to help each other out with their spiritual problems and doubts in the bible and stuff. Are atheists here to convince christians to let go of their belief, insult christians when they ask questions or because they’re trying to prove to themselves again and again that there is no God???
Am not trying to insult anybody here… am just truly curious!

If you go to a public forum, expect to find a more diverse crowd.
