Why can a bigger boat hold more weight?(Archimedes Principle)?

because the bigger boat is displacing more water ..the water that would normally be there where the boat is, but cant because the boat is in the way...

The boat will hold the amount of weight that the displaced water weighs.

smaller boats displace less water than larger boats.

its because of buoyancy, the upward force that keeps things afloat. The net upward buoyancy force is equal to the magnitude of the weight of fluid displaced by the body. This force enables the object to float or at least seem lighter.
