I bought an app for the ipad. Later I synced my iphone to itunes and it put the ipad app on my iphone! I also noticed my iphone-only apps show up on the ipad. How come apple can't figure out that the two devices are different and I don't want every damned app on both devices. Any way to change this? I recently switched to icloud syncing but the problem persists.
And if you uncheck the "sync apps" in itunes it says "are you sure you want to delete all the apps on your iphone?" No! I just dont want to sync the apps. So it forces you to either sync all apps (regardless of ipad or iphione) OR delete them all from your iphone.
