They don't have the money or the time to come legally? BS. they pay coyotes thousands of dollars to bring them here, and if there weren't 10M wanting to come all at one time, without criminal histories or diseases they could pay and take the time to come legally. They want it all and they want it now is why they come illegally.

They do travel through the border, but we have to have limitations, especially when we allow people in from countries that hate us like Middle Eastern Countries. You are right that most do the jobs we don't want, and that's a very good reason why Amnesty should be granted to those that are here and in good standing. But letting more in, does not mean there will be more police and firefighters, that's if you're trying to say "if we allow more in, there will be more violence, therefore more police are needed" because there is no correlation with crime and immigration.

Indeed, among men ages 18 to 40 — the demographic most likely to be imprisoned — those born in the U.S. were 10 times more likely than foreign-born men to be incarcerated.

are you serious. do you have any clue what you are talking about. They do not do most of the work. maybe for people like you. But many of us would never hire a lawbreaker for any reason. you really need to educate yourself before asking such a question. Why, because they bring in diseases, drugs, they smuggle in people, most are criminals before coming here. They are ruining our neighborhoods, our schools and our economy. It cost taxpayers over 330 billion dollars a year for illegal aliens, they do not contribute even close to this much. Yes there should be a war on illegal aliens in this country!

I get why people are angry but it's not the kid's fault for asking a question, give him a break! Here's your answer: Mexicans CAN travel through the border, many of them illegally do b/c they don't have the time or money to apply lawfully to get into US. And those people don't have social security numbers, or any type of visas, to identify as legal citizens of US, which means they can't get jobs like policemen or firemen.Or soldiers for that matter.
