We've heard a lot from Israel recently but very little from Hamas. Did Hamas feel as though Israel had broken the agreement before they started firing rockets?

This was only briefly touched on on the BBC news. Can anybody tell me?

What ceasefire?

Hamas continued to fire rockets throughout the last 8 years, almost non-stop. And the world didn’t seem to care too much.

Israel didn't retaliate back then and wanted to give a chance to the ceasefire, till it had enough of those rockets being fired at its civilian population.

On Nov 5th Israel breached the cease fire in Gaza. The borders were closed and no supplies were coming in. Some Palestinians had he idea to dig a tunnel to bring supplies in. The Israelis saw them and killed 6 Palestinians. This is why Hamas began firing rockets.
