Why did my limewire stop wroking?

I haven't had the internet for a couple months and needed updates for my computer. Now that everything is up to date i tried to open it as i normally would and and error came up which gave me the option to copy it then go to the limewire site.... What happened to it? was it a virus? Soi basically can not open Limewire at all.

Limewire is NOT illegal, but it is a shit program. What is illegal is sharing copyrighted data.

Scan your computer with malwarebytes, remove limewire, it's fully of crap. If you're doing peer sharing, use a torrent downloader.
