Why did we change the year back to year 1 after christ died?
I'm Jewish. My friend's mom, who asked me is Roman Catholic.
I gave my best answer to the whole question.... it was more than that question... but I am not 100% sure why it was changed. I am not religious.
From what i think, it was 1-3 hundred years after he died, or something, idk... what's the complete reason... how long after he died, did it change?
to human being:
AD does NOT mean "After Death." It means "Anno Domini," which actually means "The year of the lord."
For all who are confused, the real date from the Old Testiment would be year 5770. NOT 2010.
