Ok we get it you don't believe in god but why try to convert us who do already believe or try to crush our Beliefs. We may think your truths are just as silly/untrue as yours.
You people are getting me, I'm not saying you crush my beliefs with yours, I just ask why that the majority of you have the tendency to be call our religion stupid without prior proof. Sure there is no/little proof of god but that doesn't make anything you guys think could be completely true. Both parties can be wrong and i just wanna know why YOU guys are as sure of yourself as we are when your so a you called ''Open Minded''
I have yet to try to convert anyone to my beliefs or lack there off. I answer questions when they are specifically directed towards atheists or Wiccans because that is what I am atheistic Wiccan. As long as you show me respect and don't try to convert me I will return the respect. Believe what you wish but don't try to change my views.
What does that have to do with abdicating humanity?
Do theists become inhuman every time they preach?
I'm sorry your faith is so weak it can be crushed by mere exposure to other opinions. Maybe you should stay in church and retire from the outside world where you might encounter those of other beliefs.
one out of ten people you meet don't believe in god. nine out of ten people we meet do.
now i normally just smile and nod when somebody starts up about religion. after a while i feel i have to speak up. so, keep in mind if try to convert me i'm gonna try to convert you.
Are your beliefs that easily crushed?
Well....'cause you cannot argue with beliefs!
You can only either try to enlighten others to your own "understanding" which, can be interpreted as "belief"( amongst other things), or go about ridiculing others for not believing what you or I believe.
There really is no point in 'enlightening' others to anything.
It's up to the individual to see what works for them as a belief system.
Hopefully though, the beliefs of others won't impede or stop others from doing their thing.
It's all a pragmatic thing.
If your beliefs impinge upon my legal rights... then we have a problem.
Then it becomes a political thing.
It's all a fine balance.
