Why do British people whine so much about America on yahoo answers? Every other question on here is just a complaint from english people about Obama and his policies. When will these guys get over the fact that they lost the revolutionary war, and just move on. It is past time they accept the fact that they're stuck on a tiny island with crappy weather, ugly women and bad food... and stop crying about the US president just because they have to bend the knee to some silly king like it's still the dark ages.

Um, I was ready to agree with you up until you wrote that it is British people who come on YA to complain about President Obama. Really? You don't think that's American people who complain about him? Why would most British people even care about the American president?

england is run by a queen who is more of a figure head. they do hav a parlement(i think.) we americans have some bad things we have done, and british people have bad things they have done. some people have an irrational hate for another country.
oh and it makes no sense why they would be complaining about our president. like my teachers always say, if you dont vote for something, you cant complain about it

Don't you know that it's in fashion to complain about the US and about Americans. The louder you complain about them, the better they think they look. Until there's a calamity in their country. Then they gladly accept our help, with a smile and a thank you. But I don't find British people to be the big whiners, except possibly some of the English. And them I forgive. After all, look where they live. On an island; always damp; they bow to a queen, to princesses, to princes; they drive on the wrong side of the road; never drink before 5:00 pm; addicted to tea and scones. and they all truly believe that their people invented civilization. Faced with all these deficiencies, it's no wonder that they're uptight. And lets not even get into the beginnings of our nation. It galls them to no end that at that time, we were the only country in the world that they couldn't conquer. The last time they tried was in our war of 1812. And we kicked their uptight buts all the way from Washington to Louisiana. But you have to love them anyway. Because their complaints are minimal. And the real truth is, is that their bark is worse than their bite.

WOW! Do you need some Cheese with your Wine or are you happy minching that chip on your shoulder.
Revolutionary war? what century are you living in? Ugly women? Have you ever been in the UK? and . bye the way, it's a Queen and she is quite possibly waht your referring to as ugly, but she's over 80. bending the knee to a King in the Dark Ages? whew! stay of the games buddy and try poking your head out of the basement to see what life on this Planet is actually like.
And bye the way, I like Obama and I think he's doing the best he can in a tight situation which is made far worse by the deluge of whining he has to face from Americans.

First, it's probably like, three guys, and second there is no king of England.

To be honest, I've never seen a question from British people about that. Also, they aren't ugly with crappy weather or bad food.

Britain has a Government, idiot. The Royal family don't control anything.

Americans just love exaggerating and bringing up wars, for some reason or other. Any excuse, eh?

Honestly, most British people don't care all that much about Obama or the war.

a) England hasn't had a King for a while now, it's Queen Lizzy. There is a government and parliament- now who's living in the dark ages?
b) I don't know if you've eaten a Macdonolds recently but it isn't exactly gourmet cuisine.

Unlike the US, where roughly 80% of the population doesn't have a passport, the British arent stuck on an island- theres international travel if they so desire...

But the most ridiculous thing of all is that your question is based up some of the worst stereotypes so, my answer is based on such stereotypes too, hoping that you might understand the stupidity of both.
