Why do Christians claim prophecy is proof of the Bible, but ignore the

The majority of Bible prophecies have already been fulfilled. Many are presently being fulfilled including the asking of questions like this and the responses from many here. (2Peter 3:3-4)

@????? - After the destruction of Jerusalem in 607*B.C.E., the remnant of Judah fled to Egypt despite the prophet Jeremiah’s warning. (Jeremiah 24:1, 8-10; 42:7-22) That did not prove to be an escape for them because Nebuchadnezzar came up against Egypt and conquered it. The 40-year desolation of Egypt may have followed that conquest. While secular history provides no evidence of this desolation, we can be confident that it took place because Jehovah is the Fulfiller of prophecy.—Isaiah 55:11.

All the prophecies in the bible have been fulfilled except those pertaining to the future. If you disagree, please ask another question and cite the scripture containing the unfulfilled prophecy. I would really like to know.

I am very sure we are the generation that will see the coming of the lord Jesus as well as the end of the world. Consider Jesus

You obviously don't study the bible or you wouldn't make such a ignorant statement regarding it.
More bible prophesy has come to pass this last fifty years than since Jesus walked the Earth 2000 years ago. And whats' even better is that we ain't seen nothing yet compared to what is going to transpire in the next 20-30 years!
Hold on, it's going to be a bumpy ride for those who don't understand where it's all headed. A word to the wise is sufficient......
I thank God that He blessed me with understanding in His wonderful word, or else I would probably be standing on a window ledge of a sky scraper with all the bull$hit that's happening in the world today. Not to mention what is yet to come.....!!!! Watch, watchmen, watch.

Many prophecies dealing with the last days have yet to be fulfilled.

I wouldn't call anything God does as 'random' and there is a day of judgment coming for all that is predetermined of God.

Lots of information on what will happen as far as the calamity upon mankind in the last days is found in Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Matt. 24,25 and Revelation and in many of the other prophets.

Much is said in the scriptures about the second advent of the LORD Jesus.

Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noe [were], so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Matthew 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Matthew 26:64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Read Zech. 14 just for interest sake and get a view of the Kingdom on earth when Christ returns.

It is not a good picture for the UNSAVED in that day and no Christian wishes this event on anyone.

1 Thess 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Notice events will build up in the final days and culiminate with some of the worst outpourings of God upon sinning man.

What is really sad is that those on the earth know the cause of this day and who's wrath has come upon them and yet they will not repent.

Revelation 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Tell us which one have not been fulfilled?

We may say that prophecy being fulfilled is truth of God's word, the Holy Spirit manifesting itself in us through the word of God is proof enough for me, you know, without the Holy Spirit, a man cannot know, understand or have wisdom of God, so what is not proof to a non believer does not disprove God, the Bible or the Creation.

The prophecies of the Bible have proven themself. What has not been fulfilled is being fulfilled. Just open your spiritual eyes, or your fleshly eyes that watch the news daily.

They have all been fulfilled you should look more closely the only prophesies that have not been filled are the ones that will be fulfilled in Jesus second coming.

Because there is much prophecy that time is not ready to be fulfilled, such as those things of the Second Coming of Christ. There is always those who will question this. In fact there is a story that before Christ was born there was a people who threatened to kill the believers".

Name ONE that has not been fulfilled

If all you can do is thumb this down, I will assume that you cannot supply even ONE example, but then, I already knew that anyways.

And atheists wonder why we dont take them seriously... evidence is your friend

@Ryan

Ezekiel 29:10-11 "therefore I am against you and against your streams, and I will make the land of Egypt a ruin and a desolate waste from Migdol to Aswan, as far as the border of Cush. The foot of neither man nor beast will pass through it; no one will live there for forty years."

Egypt has never been uninhabited for 40 years.
